By using Scribley you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can use Scribley

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, please use Scribley with a parent or guardian's permission. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.

What Scribley is

Scribley is a tool that helps you plan, track and stay motivated while you write. It does not store or review your manuscript, and it does not write your book for you. Your writing and ideas belong to you.

Pricing

Scribley is free for the first 30 days after you sign up, and no card is needed. After that, membership is $48 / year ($4/month) (30 founding members pay $24 / year ($2/month), locked in while their account stays in good standing). We invoice by email, due in 10 days, and you pay by Venmo or PayPal. If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue we pause your account until it is paid. Your book and progress stay saved. We will tell you before any charge begins, and prices may change for new invoices with notice.

Text message reminders

Text reminders are optional. By ticking the consent box in your settings you agree to receive recurring automated reminder texts from Scribley at the mobile number you provide, at most once a day. Consent is not a condition of using Scribley. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. See our privacy policy for how we handle your number.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, try to break or overload it, access other people's accounts, or use it to send spam or anything unlawful.

No guarantees

Scribley is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for losses that result from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law.

Ending your account

You can stop using Scribley at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
